"Alpine Halo9"

The iLX-F903D is a DAB+ Multimedia player with a 9" WVGA touchscreen, without a disc (no CD/DVD player) reading device. The player is mounted using a 1DIN chassis, but its screen "hovers" above the car's front panel, allowing a large screen to be installed in a wide variety of cars without additional custom mounting solutions. The iLX-F903D's nickname "Alpine Halo9" describes its unique screen position and its 9" size.

1DIN Chassis – 9" Screen

The iLX-F903D chassis is 1DIN in size, ensuring the player can be installed in any car with a standard 1DIN or 2DIN radio mounting slot. The 9" high-resolution screen is attached to the chassis with steel brackets, ensuring a stable screen position while driving.

Edge-to-edge glass

The excellent 9" screen is mounted in a slim housing with edge-to-edge glass and a stunning chrome trim. The touch-sensitive fixed buttons at the bottom perfectly complement the stunning and very modern look and features of this player.

Adjustable screen tilt angle

To adapt the screen to the car, you can adjust the iLX-F903D's screen tilt angle from +45 to -20 degrees. Once the correct screen tilt angle is set, it is locked during player installation, ensuring a firm screen position while driving and operating the player via the touchscreen.

Adjustable screen height and distance from the dashboard

The screen mounting height can be adjusted +/- 3cm from the center. This allows for the selection of the most suitable screen position. You can also adjust the screen distance from the dashboard within 20mm. Once the required distances are chosen during installation, the screen is fixed very firmly to prevent vibration while driving.

Works with Apple CarPlay

Simply connect your iPhone to the Alpine Halo9 USB port and enable Apple CarPlay – you'll be able to communicate, navigate, and use your favorite phone apps. Many apps are optimized for Siri control, so you can drive safely. Apple CarPlay works with iPhone 5 and newer.

Works with Android Auto

Android Auto was designed with traffic safety in mind. A convenient and intuitive user interface, integrated control with multifunctional steering wheel buttons, new voice commands - all designed to allow you to focus entirely on safe driving. Android Auto automatically provides you with useful information, presented as separate notes when needed.

WhatsApp

Now works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto! Use WhatsApp for safe and convenient communication with friends while traveling. You can dictate messages or have Siri read incoming messages while you are driving.

Spotify

If you have a Spotify account, you can use it in your car. Spotify works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and retains the same search and music playback functions as the smartphone app. Combined with an excellent 9" touchscreen – this is a must-have app for your Alpine multimedia system.

Amazon Music

This is a great app for all Amazon Prime Music users. It works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and allows you to choose your favorite music from millions of tracks while on the road, controlling it all with the Alpine 9" touchscreen.

Waze

Works with Android Auto. The Waze navigation app shows real-time road information, which is constantly updated by drivers themselves. You will see information about traffic obstructions, police patrols, and much more.

Mobile navigation with Apple CarPlay

Maps will help you reach your destination, providing vocal announcements about upcoming intersections and visual, easy-to-read warnings. As an intersection approaches, the map display zooms in so you can clearly see which way to go. Throughout the entire route, large signs and directions will indicate the required direction and warn you how much of the journey remains. Looking for a gas station, restaurant, or cafe on your route? New navigation screen buttons will help you quickly find the nearest gas station, restaurant, or cafe and indicate how long it will take to visit the chosen location.

Mobile navigation with Android Auto

Let Google Maps show you the way. It's easy to travel using free navigation with voice directions, continuously updated traffic information, lane guidance recommendations, and many other useful features. Whether you use it on your phone or car player screen, Android Auto was designed with traffic safety in mind. Larger touch buttons, convenient and simple control, all allow the driver to remain undistracted and focused on the main goal - driving safely.

Voice control

Press the voice button on the Alpine player or the corresponding button on the multi-function steering wheel (if available) to activate Siri or Google Assistant. You can simply instruct it to make calls, set a destination, dictate and send a message, inquire about the weather forecast, and much more.

Works with Google Assistant

Activate Google Assistant on the Android Auto screen using the voice button, and Google will help you by providing weather forecasts, traffic information, music selections, calendar reminders, and much more in a safe and convenient way.

Integrated Bluetooth

The integrated Bluetooth® module allows you to use your mobile phone by connecting it wirelessly. The intuitive user interface makes it easy and simple to use, including a speed dial function for frequently used numbers. Bluetooth allows music streaming from your phone: audio recordings or even internet radio broadcasts are transmitted wirelessly to the Alpine sound system.

USB and HDMI

You can connect USB flash drives or other portable media and play audio and MP4 video files. The iLX-F903D also features an HDMI input for connecting an additional Alpine DVE-5300 DVD player or other portable player with HDMI output.

Integrated DAB+ digital radio

The integrated DAB+ tuner uses the most advanced digital technologies, ensuring stable and clear radio program reception. DAB+ also offers many additional advantages compared to FM broadcasts: a much wider selection of radio stations, convenient selection of radio stations by name or broadcast program genre.

High-end sound adjustment capabilities

The iLX-F903D features an advanced sound processor with BASS ENGINE SQ, ensuring maximum bass reproduction and overall frequency balance, as well as many additional adjustment options such as digital time correction, digital frequency filters, and a 9-band parametric equalizer. The best part is that you can change all these settings directly on your smartphone with the Alpine TuneIt app. The player also has Media Xpander, 24-Bit DAC, and 3 PreOuts (4 Volt).

Ability to connect to the car's Data-Bus

If your car has parking sensors, you will be able to use this system even after installing the iLX-F903D. Alpine offers a wide selection of interfaces designed to connect the Halo9 to the car's data system. This allows you to continue using systems such as multi-function steering wheel buttons, air conditioning settings display, or parking system.

Cameras for driver assistance

A rearview camera is an excellent aid when parking. The camera display turns on automatically when reverse gear is engaged. You can adjust the distance guidelines according to your car's dimensions. Alpine offers a wide selection of rear and front cameras, including cameras with different viewing angles. The screen can simultaneously display camera and parking system information, if available in the car.

GPS and Glonass

More satellites – greater accuracy. This Alpine player works with GPS satellite signals and also receives Glonass satellite positioning data. This is a great advantage when traveling in areas with many high-rise buildings and in the mountains. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto use the Alpine satellite signal antenna for more accurate position determination.

1DIN Installation Kit

The iLX-F903D comes with a 1DIN installation kit, which can be used in most cars with a standard 1DIN radio slot. Due to the player's weight balance, additional mounting hardware may be required.
