DESCRIPTION

Highway Mode

In addition to the map, this mode provides a lot of additional information about roadside rest areas, restaurants, and gas stations. For more convenient trip planning, information on the remaining distance and estimated arrival time is provided.

Multimedia Functions

No matter what type of content you want to enjoy, the INE-W990HDMI is ready for it. It plays music and videos from iPhone/iPod, USB drives, and DVDs (DVD-Video/CD/DivX/MP3/WMA/AAC). The 6.1” WVGA high-resolution screen with video EQ settings ensures excellent video playback. You can stream music from your phone using the integrated Bluetooth module. Sound control features include MediaXpander, 6-channel time correction, 10 preset equalizer settings, and a 9-band EQ.

Additional features - for more enjoyable driving

The INE-W990HDMI includes detailed maps of almost all European countries with 3D landmarks, highway mode, an advanced address entry algorithm, and other modern features. The most advanced navigation system provides everything you might need, no matter which country you are traveling in. Maps of 46 Western and Eastern European countries, navigation voice guidance in 29 languages, text-to-speech function in 15 languages. An extended POI database will make it easy to find necessary places, and the integrated TMC receiver will ensure you avoid traffic jams. When navigation is active, audio source information (radio station frequency, song title, etc.) is also displayed on the screen.

HDMI Connection

Connect your smartphone or portable multimedia device with an HDMI cable and enjoy high-resolution video on the screen. Fully digital data transfer and a WVGA screen will ensure the best video quality. An additional HDMI cable is required (KCU-610HD for iPhone, Sony and Motorola, KCU-610MH for HTC, Samsung Galaxy, Sony Xperia).

Integrated BLUETOOTH

The integrated Bluetooth module allows you to safely use your phone while driving. Alpine's advanced Bluetooth module with new features makes driving even easier. Compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled phones, Alpine Bluetooth allows you to conveniently search for contacts in the phonebook alphabetically and automatically updates contact entries. You can hold or swap calls, use speed dial, or view call history. You can pair 3 phones to the INE-W990HDMI. You can use one phone for hands-free calls and stream music from another phone at the same time. Set up 4 frequently called numbers and call them using the speed dial function.

Sound Settings

The INE-W990HDMI reproduces sound using advanced sound reproduction technologies - BASS ENGINE SQ, ensuring overall frequency balance and the best low-frequency reproduction, digital time correction, and a 9-band parametric equalizer. Best of all, you can control all of this with your smartphone using the Alpine TuneIt App. Plus, 24-Bit DAC and 4-volt PreOuts too!

Connect iPhone or iPod

Control your iPhone or iPod with the navigation system's touchscreen. Simply connect your Apple device to the INE-W990HDMI USB port with an Apple Lightning or 32-pin cable. You can watch videos by connecting your iPhone or iPod touch with an HDMI cable (a Lightning to HDMI adapter is required). If you have a classic iPod with a 32-pin connector, you can use the KCU-461iV adapter for connection.

Parking Assistant

Alpine's rearview camera makes reversing easier and safer. Colored distance markers appear on the screen and can be adjusted to your vehicle.

Adjust Sound Settings with Your Phone

Download the TuneIt app for your smartphone and connect your iPhone via USB cable or an Android phone via Bluetooth. Now you can adjust the sound system settings with your phone. If you are logged into Facebook, the app will display notifications of incoming news on both your phone and the player's screen. More information can be found in the TuneIt apps section.

Expand the System with DAB/DAB+ Digital Radio Receiver

The INE-W990HDMI is compatible with the TUE-DAB1U (sold separately) receiver. By connecting the TUE-DAB1U DAB/DAB+, you can control the receiver directly via the player's touchscreen.
