. A screen is installed that informs about the distance to the obstacle. 4 ultrasonic sensors are installed in the front bumper. After pressing the brake pedal, when there is less than 0.8 m, the front sensors start measuring and presenting visual information on the screen and audio information with the help of beeps. The screen can also show which side is approaching the obstacle more. Also, approaching an obstacle can be heard from increasingly frequent beeps. A continuous beep is heard when the obstacle is very close.

      DESCRIPTION

      The Steel-Mate parking system is designed for the front, warning of an obstacle when it is not visible. The distance of the front system from which the alarm starts is specially made shorter (compared to the rear parking system), because the driver sees a larger area in front. When the driver parks in reverse, the front parking system also works - only in this case it protects the driver from accidentally hooking the front of the car into a standing pillar, a car on the side, etc. In other words, the front parking system remains alert even when the car is parked in reverse.

      Sensors used: 14D-12 . Their advantages:

      • A smaller gap between the sensor head and the bumper means less space for rainwater or snow to accumulate
      • The spring has been replaced with silicone - resulting in less resonance with the metal bumper
      • 14mm sensor base is more stable than 12mm
      • It is more convenient to change the angle of the sensor cover

      Why are sensors mounted on the inside of the bumper good?

      • These sensors adapt to the thickness of the bumper - the image corresponds to the one obtained in the factory
      • The initial angle of the sensor is 0 degrees. This means it is completely flat on the bumper surface

      Sensors are standard:

      • Black color;

      • White color
