MirrorLink™ is a standard for connecting smartphones to car infotainment systems. This standard is supported by leading car manufacturers, automotive and portable electronic equipment manufacturers, belonging to the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC). MirrorLink™ allows convenient and consistent use of smart device applications for navigation, music playback, or other entertainment and communication.

If you have a MirrorLink™ compatible smartphone, visit your phone manufacturer's app store, download the necessary app (it may be a paid service) and install it on your phone. The Alpine device is used only as a terminal; the entire process takes place on the phone. When the car starts, the phone battery charges. During navigation, you can receive the latest traffic information.

Alpine TuneIt App - for sound settings and communication

The X800D-U works with the amazing Alpine TuneIt App, which allows you to adjust the sound system settings using your smartphone. After adjusting the sound system, share the settings information with other users by sending the settings information to the Alpine cloud server. You can view and rate information provided by other users, as well as download it and try these settings in your car. The Alpine TuneIt App allows you to receive news from your Facebook friends, like them, and even read these news to you!

The X800D-U sound comes with new power provided by the BASS ENGINE SQ sound processor, ensuring overall frequency balance and powerful bass sound. 24-Bit DAC, 4V line outputs, digital time correction, 9-band parametric equalizer - and all of this can be controlled via your smartphone with the Alpine TuneIt App!

DAB Receiver

You can enjoy excellent quality digital radio programming. Integrated DAB, DAB+ and DMB receivers, developed using the latest technologies, ensure excellent signal reception. In areas without DAB broadcasts, the receiver will automatically switch to analog mode with RDS. A DAB antenna (KAE-220DA) is sold separately.

HDMI connection

Connect your smartphone or player to the X800D-U via HDMI and watch movies on the high-resolution screen. Digital data transfer and WVGA display ensure excellent image quality. An additional HDMI cable is required: KCU-610HD for iPhone, Sony Xperia ACRO and Motorola, KCU-610MH for HTC ONE, Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z.

Possibility to connect Alpine climate control and parking sensor interface

The screens of many car radios display climate control and parking system information. This information disappears when the radio is replaced. With the X800D-U, this is not a problem, as an Alpine interface can be connected to this radio, which will display the car's climate control and parking system information on the X800D-U screen. This allows for full integration of the Alpine radio into the car's overall infotainment system.

Parking system sensors indicate the distance to an obstacle in front of or behind the car and make maneuvering easier and safer when parking.

The rear-view camera clearly shows the parking space. The radio automatically mutes the music so you can hear the audible signals from the parking sensors.

Displaying climate control and heating system settings allows for easy, convenient system adjustment.

Alpine X800D-U installation kits

Installing an 8" screen neatly in a car is quite complex, which is why Alpine provides installation kits that include all necessary mechanical installation and mounting parts, as well as connection interfaces for multifuntion steering wheel control. Installation kits are available for various car models: many Volkswagen, Seat and Skoda, Mercedes A Class (W169), B Class (T245), Vito and Viano, Kia Sportage, Mitsubishi ASX, Nissan Qashqai. Rear-view camera preparation with distance guide

Alpine's rear-view camera makes reversing easier and safer. Colored distance markers appear on the screen and can be adjusted according to the car. Alpine multi-view cameras can be controlled via the touchscreen.

Advanced Bluetooth with extended capabilities

The integrated Bluetooth module allows you to use your mobile phone hands-free. Advanced Alpine Bluetooth provides even more features that make driving easier. Compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled phones, integrated Bluetooth ensures easy phonebook browsing, automatic updates, and fast alphabetical search. Incoming calls can be held or switched, and call history and a speed dial screen can be viewed.

Up to 5 phones can be registered with the X800D-U. Music can be streamed from one phone, while another can be used in hands-free mode. 4 frequently used numbers can be set on the speed dial screen.

CONTROL AND NAVIGATION

Comprehensive control

The X800D-U introduces a whole new level of extremely convenient control, enabling you to view information from two sources simultaneously on the screen. You won't need to switch between different screen indications to select between different menus. All necessary information is displayed directly on one screen. Simple touchscreen icons and customizable functions provide even more convenience.

Customize the device for personal use

You can move your eight most frequently used functions to the favorites screen section in any desired order by simply selecting and dragging the chosen icon. This will allow you to quickly and easily tune into your favorite radio station or call your best friend without searching for information in your phone's address book. You can also choose the screen background color and adjust sound parameters according to your car model. And all this is individually set for two users, based on phone recognition via the Bluetooth system.

Very convenient for two users

If you, your spouse or another person frequently drives the same car, you can save your user profile. When you get into the car, Bluetooth will automatically connect your phone to the X800D-U and activate your profile settings - control screen and background colors, favorite functions, phone address books, radio and rear-view camera settings. You will no longer have to manually set your parameters each time, which saves time and makes usage much simpler.

Multimedia Specialist

No matter what type of recordings you want to enjoy - the X800D-U is ready for them. It plays music and video files from iPhone/iPod, USB drives and DVD (DVD-Video/CD/DivX/MP3/WMA/AAC). Video recordings are perfectly reproduced on the 8” WVGA high-resolution screen with video EQ settings. You can also stream music via the integrated Bluetooth module or connect a mobile phone. Sound adjustment features include MediaXpander, 6-channel time correction, 10 equalizer presets and a 9-band EQ.

For more comfortable driving - closer system integration

The X800D-U can be easily integrated into the factory car system. Additional features - for a more pleasant driving experience

The X800D-U advanced navigation system provides everything you might need, no matter what country you travel in. Maps of 47 Western and Eastern European countries, navigation voice guidance in 29 languages, text-to-speech function in 15 languages. An extended POI database will allow you to easily find necessary places, and the integrated TMC receiver will ensure that you avoid traffic jams on the roads.

Maps with 3D landmarks

3D maps provide a much more realistic view of the area you are driving through. The maps include hundreds of 3D landmarks, and city maps feature 3D buildings, making travel much easier.

Highway mode

In addition to the map, this mode provides a lot of additional information about rest areas, restaurants, and gas stations along the way. For more convenient trip planning, information about the remaining distance and estimated arrival time is provided.

Extended address input
