High-Resolution WVGA Touchscreen Display

The 8-inch high-resolution WVGA screen allows you to control the entire system via touchscreen. The latest video playback technologies ensure exceptionally clear, high-contrast, and high-resolution images. Thanks to these technologies, navigation maps are displayed with stunning detail, and the quality of movies or video recordings creates a true cinema experience. The system's operation is convenient and intuitive, designed to integrate seamlessly into your car. A wide spectrum of screen illumination colors allows you to choose the one that best suits your preferences and your car's design.

8-inch Display with 1 DIN Chassis

Many cars have space for players with 7- or 8-inch screens, but very often there isn't enough room for a 2 DIN size player chassis. The new SMART is an example of such a car. To solve this problem, Alpine developed the X802D-U - a player with an 8" screen and a 1 DIN size chassis. Using Alpine's specific car model installation kits, you can perfectly install the player and make it look factory-installed in your car.

Works with Apple CarPlay

The X802D-U, working with Apple CarPlay, allows for smart use of your iPhone while traveling. Apple CarPlay provides iPhone users with an incredibly intuitive way to make or answer calls, use maps, listen to music, or view messages via voice command or a simple touch of the screen. Stay connected and enjoy Spotify, online radio stations, or music recordings during your journey. Simply connect your CarPlay-enabled iPhone to the Alpine player's USB port, and you're ready to go!.

Works with Android Auto

Android Auto was designed with road safety in mind. A convenient and intuitive user interface, integrated control with multifunctional steering wheel buttons, and new voice commands – all designed to keep your focus on safe driving. Android Auto automatically presents useful information in separate notes when you need it. Both systems – Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – can use the X802D-U's navigation antenna to determine the car's current position more accurately.

DAB+ Digital Radio

The integrated DAB/DAB+/DMB receiver uses advanced digital technologies to ensure stable and clear reception of radio programs. DAB+ also offers many additional advantages compared to FM broadcasts: a much wider selection of radio stations, convenient selection of radio stations by name or genre of the broadcast program.

USB and HDMI Ports

You can connect USB flash drives or portable players and play music or MP4 video recordings. The X802D-U also has an HDMI port for connecting an additional Alpine DVE-5300 DVD player or another portable media player with HDMI output. If your phone manufacturer offers an HDMI adapter for your smartphone, you can connect your phone and view photos or videos directly on the Alpine screen (additional cable or adapter required). The X802D-U HDMI port can also be used as an output for connecting additional monitors.

Note: The HDMI output is only for transmitting HDMI input signals, so you will not be able to see USB video recordings, navigation screens, or Apple CarPlay or Android Auto content on screens connected to the HDMI output.

High-End Sound Tuning Functions

The X802D-U will fill your car with excellent quality sound, where bass is enhanced and overall frequency balance is regulated by the advanced BASS ENGINE SQ sound processor, providing numerous sound adjustment options - digital time correction, frequency filters, and a dual 9-band parametric equalizer. Best of all, you can adjust all these settings with your smartphone using the Alpine TuneIt App. Also for your convenience, Media Xpander, 24-Bit DAC, and 3 pairs of linear (2 V) outputs.

Hi-Res Audio Playback

The Alpine player can play FLAC audio files - including 24/96 and 24/192 Hi-Res Audio.

Integrated iGo Primo NextGen Navigation

iGo Primo NextGen is currently one of the best navigation applications. Together with Alpine's hardware and processor power, you will get a very accurate and fast navigation system for your car. For example, calculating a route from Munich to Paris takes only a few seconds. The system is equipped with many useful and unique navigation features, starting with partial address recognition by entering only part of the address, TMC traffic information messages, 3D landmark icons, and many other functions. This also includes data on hundreds of thousands of points of interest (POI), making it easier to find a restaurant or other location.

TomTom Maps and Free Map Updates for 3 Years

A navigation system is only as good as its maps: the X802D-U uses excellent TomTom maps for 49 European countries. For three years from the first time you switch on the navigation, you can download and update your Alpine navigation system maps for free from alpine.naviextras.com - with no restrictions on how often you can update the maps. After the 3-year period, you will be able to purchase map updates for a desired region or all of Europe at a very attractive price.

Interactive Navigation with Apple CarPlay

Maps will help you reach your destination, providing vocal instructions for upcoming intersections and clear visual warnings. As an intersection approaches, the map screen will zoom in so you can clearly see which way to go. Throughout the route, large signs and directions will indicate the necessary direction and alert you how much of the journey remains. Looking for a gas station, restaurant, or cafe on your route? New navigation screen buttons will help you quickly find the nearest gas station, restaurant, or cafe and show you how much time you'll spend by stopping at the chosen location. Press the X802D-U navigation button to directly activate Apple CarPlay, without navigating through menu options.

Interactive Navigation with Android Auto

Let Google Maps show you the way. It's easy to travel using free navigation with voice directions, continuously updated traffic information, lane guidance, and many other useful features. Whether you use your phone or the car's player screen, Android Auto was designed with road safety in mind. Larger touch buttons, convenient and simple controls, all allow the driver to stay focused on the main goal - driving safely. The X802D-U works seamlessly with Android Auto and Google Maps. Android Auto can use the X802D-U's navigation antenna to more accurately determine the car's current position.

GPS and Glonass

More satellites - greater accuracy. This Alpine player works with GPS satellite signals and also receives Glonass satellite positioning data. This is a great advantage when traveling in areas with many high-rise buildings and in the mountains. You will quickly appreciate this improvement when using Apple CarPlay navigation and Glonass.

Integrated Bluetooth® Technologies

The integrated Bluetooth® module allows you to connect your phone wirelessly and use it for hands-free calls. A very intuitive control interface makes it easy to set up the microphone and volume settings. Speed dial buttons are available for frequently used phone numbers. Bluetooth® also allows you to listen to music recordings from your phone or even internet radio broadcasts through the Alpine audio system.

Connection to the Car's Data-Bus System

If your car has a parking sensor system, the X802D-U will allow you to continue using this parking assistant. Alpine data-bus interfaces allow you to connect the navigation to the car's data system. This allows you to continue using the multifunction steering wheel buttons and see air conditioning system and parking assistant information on the player's screen. You can even see navigation system directions for upcoming intersections on the speedometer's multifunction display (if the car's system supports this feature).

Cameras for Driver Assistance

A rear-view camera is a great help when parking. This camera automatically activates when reverse gear is engaged, and the car's dimension markings displayed on the screen can be adjusted to your car's measurements. Alpine produces a range of front and rear-view cameras for cars, including cameras with different viewing angles, controlled by touchscreens on players. On the player's screen, you can simultaneously view the camera image and parking sensor information.

Favorites

Wouldn't it be convenient to see the most important phone numbers, favorite radio stations, and frequently needed travel addresses on one screen? That's exactly what the "Favorites" option offers. Press the audio button for one second to activate the Favorites selection.

Voice Control

Press the VOICE button on your Alpine player or multifunction steering wheel (if supported) to activate SIRI or OK Google. You can make calls, dictate navigation destinations, send messages, or simply say the name of a desired song - these are just a few examples of what's possible. This is a very advanced way to control your Alpine system while driving safely.
