Many High End Audio manufacturers utilize low-cost commodity components in their network switches: even very expensive ones. Although acceptable for basic data transmission, these parts cannot adequately support an audio-grade network. Thus, the Bonn N8 was designed to deliver superior audio quality by specifying critical components without compromise or regard for cost. At a time when traditional High End companies are repackaging standard switches as "Audio-Grade," Bonn delivers true Audiophile Grade Performance at a fraction of the price.

A highly permeable EMI absorber (>120 @1MHz) is deployed inside the enclosure to reduce electrical interference.

Exclusive Clock Module, TCXO

Silent Angel's 0.1ppm TCXO (Temperature Compensation Crystal Oscillator) is 50 times more precise than the generic Crystal Clock used by our competitors, resulting in lower latency issues and reduced jitter effects.

Jitter Effect Improvement

When transmitting high-frequency network packets, distortion is a common artifact. The Bonn N8 effectively lowers jitter to 369ps whereas typical switches present at 705ps.

Designed for HD Music Streaming

The Bonn N8 enables an isolated “Network Ecosystem” to create an independent low-noise, low-interference HiFi audio zone that effectively separates your audio devices from household traffic and reduces the degradation of network broadcasting storms and latency caused by bandwidth-intensive activities from PCs and other devices. The result is greater signal purity with lower noise, distortion and greater resolution of fine detail.

Optimized for Music Applications
