INFORMACIJA
Silent Coat Green - a 1.8mm thick vibration damping material uses its own mass load to reduce sheet metal resonance and absorb body vibration, converting them into a small amount of heat. By using this material, you can stop interior trim rattling, eliminate road and other external noise in the car, and significantly improve the sound quality of your car's audio system.
We recommend using a sound level meter before and after installing vibration and sound insulation materials. This way, you will clearly see the differences, as the human ear does not always notice these differences.
Silent Coat is a polymer-based vibration damping material with an extremely adhesive surface. Thanks to its aluminum foil top surface and unique structure, it is highly effective in converting vibration into thermal energy. Silent Coat is very flexible, which is especially important as it allows it to be applied to any surface contour. It can be applied to all metal surfaces in the car, including the hood. USAGE: Applied in the car to all internal sheet metal surfaces: floor, roof, trunk, wheel arches, pillars, bulkhead between the engine and passenger compartment, doors, and engine hood. The adhesive surface is made of highly adhesive mastic. The material does not absorb moisture and has anti-corrosion properties. Additionally, it is recommended to apply the sound insulation material Silent Coat Noise Isolator on top of the vibration damping. If working at temperatures between 15-55°C, no additional heating of the material is necessary. When heated, the material becomes more flexible, making it easier to adhere to uneven surfaces. Additional heating of the material is only recommended if the ambient working temperature is below 10°C. The surface to be adhered must be clean, rust-free, and degreased if necessary.
To facilitate work, you can additionally purchase a 3cm or 5cm roller for bituminous material.
