QP-MR6.5 is a high power, high-quality midrange woofer designed to play loud and clear. Large systems demand more from their mid-range and high-frequency speakers than standard component speaker systems and full-range speakers can provide. The QP-MR6.5 professional midrange stereo speakers have been engineered with the precision expected of a 6.5″ automotive speaker. The QP-MR6.5 is ready for mobile use and features a shallow, 2.65” mounting depth, making installation easy.

QP-MR6.5 Pro Audio Mid Range Speakers open up new possibilities for car audio system design. Modern stereos and interiors make adding car speakers beyond OEM mounting locations, molded into door panels, dashboards, and pillars, a challenge. Traditional component systems and coaxial speakers are not efficient enough to keep up with the output of a hard-working sub system.

Midrange speakers typically reproduce mid-bass tones in the 500Hz-4kHz range. This is arguably the most important frequency range, as it includes most musical instruments and vocals. Because your ears are most sensitive to this mid-range, the speakers can play at lower wattages while still delivering good, loud tones. Due to their limited range, standard midrange speakers often sound dull, flat, and require the support of subwoofers and tweeters to achieve a full-range sound.
