INFORMACIJA

A display is mounted that informs about the distance to an obstacle. 4 ultrasonic sensors are mounted in the front bumper. When the brake pedal is pressed, and there is less than 0.8m, the front sensors start measuring and providing visual information on the screen and audible information via beeps. The display also shows which side is closer to the obstacle. Approaching an obstacle can also be heard from increasingly frequent beeps. When the obstacle is very close, a continuous sound signal is heard.

This system has a new generation display that can be mounted in three different positions.

The Steel-Mate parking system is designed for the front, warning of an obstacle when it is not visible. The alarm activation distance of the front system is specially made shorter (compared to the rear parking system), because the driver sees a larger area in front. When the driver is reversing, the front parking system also works - but in this case it prevents the driver from accidentally hitting a standing pole, a car next to it, etc. with the front of the car. In other words, the front parking system remains vigilant even when the car is reversing.

The control unit allows adjusting the sensitivity of the sensors (2 modes are available - high and low). A separate function is the deactivation time of the front sensors - set separately (the time interval when the sensors are still active after releasing the brake pedal - can be 8 or 20 seconds).
