INFORMACIJA

A display is mounted that provides information about the distance to an obstacle. 4 ultrasonic sensors are mounted in the front bumper. When the brake pedal is pressed, if the distance is less than 0.8m, the front sensors start measuring and provide visual information on the display and audible information via beeps. The display also shows which side is closer to the obstacle. Approaching an obstacle can also be heard from the increasingly frequent beeps. When the obstacle is very close, a continuous sound signal is heard.

The Steel-Mate parking system for the front warns of an obstacle when it is not visible. The alarm activation distance for the front system is specifically made shorter (compared to a rear parking system) because the driver sees a larger area at the front. When the driver is parking in reverse, the front parking system also works – in this case, it prevents the driver from accidentally hitting a stationary pole, a car on the side, etc., with the front of the car. In other words, the front parking system remains vigilant even when the car is parking in reverse.

Sensor sensitivity can be adjusted in the control unit (2 modes available - high and low). A separate function is the front sensor deactivation time - set separately (the time period when the sensors are still active after releasing the brake pedal - can be 8 or 20 seconds).
