A premium Cambridge Audio stereo power amplifier, the ideal "partner" for the Cambridge Audio Edge NQ starter amplifier/network player.

In the audio signal path, the number of details critical to the amplified signal in the rear cascade has been minimized to 14 - amazing detail, an impressive 3D music scene and instrument localization have been achieved. The use of unconventional solutions in the construction of the printed circuit board and its radio elements ensured the straightest and cleanest path of the amplified signal - as a result, the ideal sound tonal balance stability at any sound level. Separately, it is worth mentioning the two symmetrical toroidal transformers mounted opposite each other in the amplifier, which eliminated the influence of the electromagnetic field on the tone of the reproduced and amplified audio signal, regardless of how much power is required from the amplifier's power source.
The amplifier is built according to the traditional Class AB circuit, but Cambridge Audio engineers have uniquely introduced an additional bias voltage into the circuit, thus significantly reducing signal nonlinear distortion (THD) and increasing the efficiency of the amplifier.
