APRAŠYMAS

Next-generation Grand-class turntable
Hi-Fi design turntable with ΔΣ-Drive, a new motor drive technology that ensures high rotational precision and low vibration. The new turntable motor, three-layer platter and ultra-rigid chassis ensure even higher sound quality.

Coreless direct drive motor ensures stable rotation

In the SL-1300G, a coreless direct drive motor without an iron core eliminates the uneven rotation of the turntable, known as hooking. In addition, the dual-rotor design reduces bearing load while maintaining high torque, and reduces small vibrations during rotation. In addition, the SL-1300G motor has been redesigned to eliminate subtle vibrations that can affect sound quality. To improve rigidity, the same reinforcement pattern as the standard-class SL-1000R/SP-10R has been used for the coil mounting base.

Motor drive system, "ΔΣ Drive" (Delta Sigma Drive)
Discover the realm of sonic precision with ΔΣ-Drive, a cutting-edge system developed using Technics' PWM signal processing expertise. In addition to reducing harmonics, the drive also dampens vibrations caused by the motor, allowing the motor to rotate more smoothly and precisely, ensuring rich music reproduction.

Vibration resistance design
Three-layer turntable disc
The turntable features a three-layer construction with a rigidly bonded brass and aluminum die-cast plate. A full-surface damping rubber eliminates unnecessary resonance, providing exceptional rigidity and vibration damping. Smooth rotational stability and an inertial mass exceeding the SP-10MK2 direct drive turntable standard used by broadcast stations worldwide are ensured. The inertial mass is also more than double that of the SL-1200MK5.

Four-layer body construction
The SL-1300G's rigidity is achieved by using a two-layer body construction that tightly bonds the BMC and cast aluminum block. Reinforcing ribs have been added to the top plate between the motor/sound pickup. This improves rigidity and vibration damping properties

High-level balance adjustment
If the weight of the turntable is unevenly distributed, excessive vibration or noise will occur during rotation, resulting in poor sound quality. Therefore, the balance of the turntable is adjusted at the factory using specialized high-precision balance adjustment equipment for each element after the turntable is assembled. Adjusted turntables are marked with an “UNBALANCED” sticker, indicating that the adjustment has been made.

Multi-stage silent power supply

Low noise switching circuit
The use of a high-speed switching power supply ensures stable power supply and reduces sound ripple and hum. By applying a switching power supply to a turntable, a large transformer and countermeasures against mechanical vibrations are no longer needed. A switching frequency of more than 100 kHz limits the impact of noise on the bandwidth of music playback.

Current injection active noise cancellation
This technology combines a noise detection device with an error amplifier. It detects residual noise in the power supply and applies an inverse phase current to eliminate the noise components. It is more effective than a regulator in eliminating low-frequency noise and ensuring an ideal power supply.

High primary rotation sensitivity pickup
The direction of rotation of the record is followed by the pickup, which is a crucial component for accurate reproduction. The system uses a lightweight, rigid aluminum tube adopted from Technics, which is in the traditional universal S-shape that maintains static balance. It achieves high initial motion sensitivity thanks to a gimbal suspension and a high-precision bearing that is hand-assembled by skilled craftsmen. This meticulous construction ensures precise registration of the record grooves. In addition, it has a built-in additional weight, so it can be used with a variety of receiver cartridges.

Clearer sound features

The SL-1300G housing is supported by isolators made of special silicone rubber, which not only provide excellent vibration damping properties but also long-term reliability.

The turntable uses detachable gold-plated phono and ground terminals, and a metal shielding structure inside the cabinet reduces the effects of external noise.

Cardboard padding and packaging materials

The SL-1300G uses cardboard padding and packaging materials. The padding has been changed from styrene foam to corrugated cardboard, reducing the weight of plastic used by approximately 70% compared to the SL-1200 (reference model).
