Technics SL-G700M2, smart sound amplifier with network player

The SL-G700M2 is equipped with a high-precision serial S/A converter, which is the result of the accumulation of these technologies, and which converts digital values ​​into analog signals with high precision and outputs them to the amplifier. It consists of (1) sequential processing, (2) a high-performance S/A converter in a dual monaural configuration, and (3) a proprietary discrete amplifier circuit.
The dual ESS ES9026PRO is a newly adapted DAC chip. The symmetrical arrangement of K/D units, one on each side, and their independent transmission designs minimize mutual interference and accurately reproduce the audio and visual and musical space within the sound source.
The circuit filter after S/A conversion uses an amplifier circuit with a unique discrete configuration instead of an op-amp integrated circuit. This results in even greater sensitivity and sound-to-noise ratio and reproduces even the most delicate sounds.

Technics' new proprietary sequential processing technology provides improved pulse signal reproducibility by reducing amplitude and phase deviations from the S/A conversion process, converting up to 192kHz PCM signals using proprietary signal processing technology*. This processing results in purer sound and clearer sound and visuals.

Digital audio players that process small signals must be carefully noise-suppressed, as even the tiniest bit of noise can have a noticeable effect on sound quality. The multi-stage quiet power supply provides thorough noise cancellation in three stages: (1) fast switching power supply, (2) low noise regulator, and (3) current injection active noise cancellation.
The SL-G700M2 uses an approximately 300 kHz fast switching power supply, which is also used for the analog circuits of the SU-R1000 reference class integrated amplifiers. By increasing the switching frequency, noise in the music reproduction bandwidth is reduced and a power supply with a very sensitive response is created.
In addition, the low noise regulator ensures a high level of low noise and stable power supply. All this is achieved by precisely matching circuit configurations.

This newly developed technology, current injection active noise cancellation removes unwanted noise components by applying an inverse phase current to the detected noise. Even more effective current noise rejection can be achieved by using a push-pull method combined with conventional current-entrainment noise rejection.

The SL-G700M2 supports Super Audio CD playback, which is a high-quality audio disc format. To further improve the quality, a "Pure Disc Playback" mode is applied for Super Audio CD or CD playback. This model also supports MQA and can fully decode MQA files and MQA-CD playback. Various other high-resolution formats are also supported, including WAV/AIFF, FLAC/ALAC and DSD file playback.
In addition, the SL-G700M2 is equipped with a new USB-B port that enables continuous connection to a network audio server or computer for playback of high-resolution audio sources from a connected device.

The SL-G700M2 supports Google Cast™, providing a wide range of music streaming from apps provided by Google Chromecast and AirPlay 2. In addition, the equipment also supports Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® wireless connections.*

The SL-G700M2 unit is divided into four sections - power supply, digital interface, analog circuit diagram and turntable sections, which work independently from each other. This blocks mutual interference between circuits and reduces audio quality degradation. The turntable features a three-layer block configuration. Powerful vibration damping and a quiet design, including cast aluminum discs, ensure high-fidelity disc reproduction.
The exterior features a slim-line 7mm aluminum front panel and 3mm aluminum side panels and an engraved Technics logo for a distinctive high-quality design and finish.
