Powerful 7-channel discrete amplifier, ECO mode

The NR1608 amplifier section features discrete high-current output amplifiers for dynamic sound in both music and movie playback. Identical 90W power on each channel, low impedance speaker support and excellent sound control. Meanwhile, Eco mode saves energy without losing dynamism.

Latest HDMI connections, HDR, Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDCP 2.2

8 HDMI inputs, one of which is on the front, create an advanced video processing system for the NR1608. HDMI connections support the latest formats and protocols, such as 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video resolution, 4:4:4 Pure Color, BT.2020 and HDR. Dolby Vision support is also included.

Dolby Atmos

Experience 3D sound with Dolby Atmos. With the help of this new sound format, you will be able to connect two additional top-channel speakers and feel as if you are in the center of the action.

DTS:X

The DTS:X sound format accurately distributes sounds in a three-dimensional space, creating an extremely realistic surround sound at home. An increased sense of realism simply draws viewers into the movie.

Hi-Res Audio (High Resolution Audio)

The NR1608 will give you the opportunity to discover the quality of high-resolution music recordings. You can listen to such recordings via the USB port on the front or from devices on the network. The receiver supports formats such as ALAC, FLAC and WAV. Also DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz files.

Audyssey MultEQ for easy setup

Two subwoofer connections

One subwoofer requires precise placement for optimal bass reproduction. Meanwhile, by connecting two subwoofers in different parts of the room, the low frequencies are distributed more evenly and provide accurate bass reproduction anywhere in the room.

Multi-Source/Multi-room

Whatever you need, the NR1608 provides it. You can enjoy 5.2 surround sound in the main room and simultaneously listen to music in stereo mode from another source in another part of the house. Connect additional speakers to the amplifier outputs or a separate amplifier for the second zone to the Zone 2 pre-out outputs.

Smart TV Connectivity
