The amplifier has 9 channels, each of which generates up to 185W of power and you can enjoy 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 surround 3D sound. By additionally connecting a power amplifier, the system can be expanded to 7.1.4 sound.

The SR6012's advanced video processing system is fully compatible with the latest HDMI and HDCP 2.2 specifications on all 8 HDMI inputs. With 4K Ultra HD video resolution, 4:4:4 Pure Color color resolution, High Dynamic Range (HDR), 21:9 video format, 3D, BT.2020 and Dolby Vision, the SR6012 is fully prepared for the latest technologies of the future. Additionally, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) skipping and eARC (Enchanted Audio Return Channel) will be available in the future with a software update.

The integrated HEOS wireless multiroom system means that you can integrate the SR6012 into an existing HEOS system or simply create a new one, enjoy endless online sources and control the entire system with one app.

Powerful 9-channel discrete amplifier, ECO mode

The SR6012 features a high-current discrete amplifier for each of the 9 channels, helping to create extremely dynamic sound for both listening to music and watching movies. With even under 185W per channel and supporting low-impedance speakers, the amplifier has excellent sound control.

To enjoy immersive 3D sound, you can create a 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 sound system without an additional amplifier, or 7.1.4 by connecting an external 2-channel amplifier. The SR6012 also has an 11.2 sound processor.

Meanwhile, the ECO mode helps to save electricity, and the energy consumption bar is visible on the screen. ECO mode reduces maximum power or adopts a low-power strategy without compromising high sound quality.
