Desktop-Class Audio Performance
At the heart of the QX13 is the ESS ES9027SPRO, a flagship SABRE PRO digital-to-analog converter commonly found in high-end desktop audio equipment. Combined with an advanced fully differential circuit design and parallel audio channels, it provides outstanding resolution, low distortion, and impressive dynamic range.
Powering the digital section is the XMOS XU316 16-core USB processor, enabling support for PCM up to 768 kHz / 32-bit, native DSD512, and MQA full decoding for uncompromised high-resolution playback.
Powerful Amplification
The analog stage features four TI INA1620 headphone amplifier chips together with two OPA1692 low-noise operational amplifiers. This carefully optimized design delivers excellent channel separation, wide soundstage, and stable performance across a wide range of headphones.
In Desktop Mode, the balanced 4.4 mm output can provide up to 900 mW per channel at 32 Ω, making the QX13 capable of driving many demanding over-ear headphones while maintaining excellent efficiency and low power consumption.
Intelligent Desktop Mode
FiiO's patented Desktop Mode automatically analyzes the available USB power source and intelligently adjusts amplifier gain and output power. This ensures the best balance between maximum performance, thermal stability, and energy efficiency without requiring manual adjustments.
Advanced Circuit Design
To minimize interference, the QX13 separates its digital and analog sections onto independent circuit boards protected by dedicated shielding.
