Audison AFBMW ReAMP 3 is a Plug & Play T-Harness for quick and easy installation of Audison AF bit amplifiers in BMW cars with RAM audio modules, without cutting the original wiring. This adapter transfers the 7 speaker-level outputs of the RAM module to the inputs of your AF bit amplifier and also provides speaker cables so you can configure the system as needed.

Compatibility: with BMWs equipped with a RAM module and the following OEM systems:
Standard audio system;
HI-FI 676 audio system;
Also compatible with: 688 Harman Kardon (HK) systems, but:
transmits only 7 of the 9 required channels, so additional solutions may be required for full HK connection.

DESCRIPTION

This Plug&Play T-Harness allows to install an Audison AF bit amplifier on BMW vehicles equipped with RAM modules. It is compatible with "Standard" and "HI-FI" 676 sound systems (It is also compatible with 688 HK-branded systems, but only delivers 7 of the 9 channels required). This harness delivers the 7 speaker-level outputs of the RAM to the inputs of your AF amplifier and also provides speaker leads for front, rear, underseat woofer, and center - so you can configure your AF amplifier as desired. NOTE: not compatible with AP BMW ASD BYPASS – Active Sound "artificial exhaust note" defeat requires vehicle coding.

Features

  1. Compatibility with RAM module-equipped 676 HiFi audio package and Audison AF bit amplifier
    • the use of other products may require modifications and additional connections to the vehicle
    • 676 HiFi systems use 2Ω woofers. Do not bridge two channels into a 2Ω load, since protection shutdown or amplifier damage may result. To use bridged channel, the user needs to replace the OEM 2Ω woofers with Audison APBMW S8-4.2 4Ω woofers. Please, make sure to confirm proper bridge wiring.
  2. Confirm correct application
    • APBMW ReAMP 1, APBMW ReAMP 2 and AFBMW ReAMP 3 use identical connectors, but with different pinouts. They are not interchangeable.
