FOUR Connect STAGE2 RCA cables are carefully designed for the best results. These cables have thicker-than-usual conductors made of tinned OFC (T-OFC). The triple-shielded twisted pair structure eliminates unnecessary noise. Another noise suppression factor is the additional wire present in all cables. The conductors are also foil-shielded to prevent inductive noise. The conductors are insulated with materials used in high-voltage cables. This structure provides incredibly good noise suppression, which is especially important in automotive environments. The connectors are Rhodium-plated Bite Hold Molded Connectors (BHMC), and each connector is factory-tested to ensure an excellent grip. The connector housings are made of HDPE plastic, which has a high insulation coefficient. The housings have an opposing cone structure that acts as strain relief for the cable. The external additional wire can be used as a remote control wire or a noise-suppressing ground wire.
