Use your apps – with RADICAL's media receiver

The R-C11MB2 uses an Android 9.0 operating system, so that a direct installation of Android apps on the multimedia system is possible. All apps that you want to use in your Mercedes, for example your navigation apps, can be easily transferred to the infotainer via the APK installer and then operated via touchscreen. The RADICAL media receiver has a very powerful 1.3 GHz Octa Core CPU with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB flash memory, so that apps and background processes run smoothly and you have enough capacity to install your apps.

Navigation system for Mercedes E-Class

You have several ways to navigate with the R-C11MB2: You can mirror a navigation app to the media receiver or install your Android navi apps directly via APK installer. You can also expand the media center to a sat nav: The Open Street Map navigation R-MAPC10 is already pre-installed on the device – just activate it with an optional license code.

Mirroring for mobile phones: EasyConnection

With EasyConnection you can mirror the display contents of your Android phone, including apps like YouTube, via WiFi or USB to the multimedia system for Mercedes and operate the apps via touchscreen. iOS-based phones are also supported, but the apps are then operated from the iPhone.

The RADICAL Android car radio integrates optically and technically into the Mercedes E-Class Sedan (W211), the CLS (C219) and the Station Wagon T-Model (W211). The CAN bus interface, which is included in the scope of delivery, handles the networking with the steering wheel remote control,multifunctional display, electromagnetic park sensors (EPS), reversing control, handbrake control, and vehicle illumination status.
